The elite A team movie of brave men is finally on the big screen. This is a movie release of the famous TV series we have enjoyed several decades ago. It stars Liam Neeson (Colonel Hannibal Smith), Bradley Copper (Lt. ‘Faceman’ Peck), Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson (B.A. Baracus) and Sharlto Copley (H.M. ‘Howling Mad’ Murdock). They were a team of crack commando that has been sent to prison through a military court, accusing them for a crime that they have been framed for. Their means to escape a maximum security facility is brilliantly executed. Though they have different personalities and personality problems the team has managed to execute most of their plans well. We have the brains of the operation Smith, the lady seducer Faceman, a huge guy with also a huge phobia for aircrafts and flying, Baracus and the eccentric pilot Murdock. There are so many funny scenes to choose from especially when the frame puts Murdock and Baracus together. I can’t help laughing when Murdock poses as a doctor and decides to make some stitches on the wounded Baracus. There were also scenes where they had to put Baracus to sleep just to keep him calm during their aircraft rides. In this movie they had planned to go on a mission to retrieve plates that would be used to counterfeit US currency. Though they have managed to execute the plan well, they have been sentenced for 10 years imprisonment in line with the unauthorized mission and killing of General Morrison in the process. In the end, they found out that they have been framed and General Morrison actually lives. They made another plan that would make them redeem their name and still manage to surrender the stolen plates. But the system is not pleased yet and tried to put them behind bars. With some help, the audience would be left with the idea that the team would make their escape effortlessly. I find it very entertaining to see the guys in action and it seems that even at the most serious action scenes, the story line managed to include tons of funny lines for the actors. The actions are unbelievably real and there are a lot of bombings involved. I definitely enjoyed seeing the casts riding a helicopter and airplanes for most of the times and laugh consistently with the mischief’s of Murdock. He’s really one crazy guy. Of course, the lady seducer also had its points. Faceman brings a new set of humor to the film that is very distinct with that of Murdock’s and Barrack’s. This movie presents a balanced set of everything which the movie goers would surely be waiting in line for the sequel.
